Deli Home in Hungary contributes to housing refugees Ukraine

Through aid organisations, Deli Home Hungary has contributed to housing Ukrainian refugees who are expected to stay in Hungary for several months. Managing Director Deli Home Hungary András Petri: “We chose to donate to a charitable organisation that has been helping refugees from Ukraine in Hungary and Transcarpathia since day one of the war. This organisation is knowledgeable, knows how to set priorities and also coordinates all aid.

Several offices of this organisation have been converted into temporary accommodation for refugee reception. The charity organisation provides refugees with basic needs (food, personal hygiene items, cleaning products, drinking water), but also provides the conditions for daily peace of mind by organising community activities for families. Here, children can gain and share experiences with their parents and relatives.

In addition, the organisation contributes to the cost of appropriate healthcare and necessary transport for administrative procedures. So far, over 100 people have been housed in the reformed offices of the Reformed Mission Centre. With the support of Deli Home, full care has been made possible for 38 people.”
