Deli Home strengthens its presence through the intended acquisition of Amargós in Spain

Gorinchem, the Netherlands / Guadassuar, Spain – August 4, 2026

Deli Home, the leading European manufacturer and distributor of timber-based home improvement products, today announces its intention to acquire Amargós S.L.U. ("Amargós"), one of Spain's leading manufacturers of modular timber door frames for the home improvement sector. The intended acquisition represents another important milestone in Deli Home's strategy to expand its European footprint and significantly enhances its presence in the Iberian market.

Founded in 1972, Amargós serves over 400 professional builders' merchants and DIY retailers throughout Spain, from its 30,000m² automated site near Valencia, and has built an outstanding reputation for product quality, innovation and reliability. From this location Amargós will continue to operate under its own brand and with the existing management team.

The acquisition provides Deli Home with a strong foothold in Spain, one of Europe's most attractive home improvement markets, while enabling Amargós to benefit from Deli Home's international scale, digital capabilities and broad portfolio of complementary products.

Eugène Sterken, CEO of Deli Home, commented: "We are delighted to announce our intention to acquire Amargós, a highly respected market leader in modular timber door frames in Spain. The product portfolios of Amargós and Deli Home complement each other exceptionally well, creating significant opportunities to strengthen our value proposition for customers across Iberia. Amargós has earned an excellent reputation among its customers through decades of craftsmanship, innovation and reliability. Together, we will be well positioned to accelerate growth in the Iberian market while continuing to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions for home improvement. We look forward to welcoming the Amargós team to the Deli Home family."

Juan Manuel Amargós, Managing Director of Amargós, added: "My family and I are extremely proud of what we have built since the company was founded more than 50 years ago. The trust of our customers and the dedication of our employees have been the foundation of our success, through times of growth and difficult periods the Spanish economy has endured. That experience has shown us the importance of scale, adaptability, and strong partnerships, and that is precisely why we recognize that becoming part of a larger, complementary European group will allow us to further strengthen our market position, broaden our product offering and increase our resilience in an increasingly dynamic market. Deli Home is the ideal partner because we share the same values, long-term vision and commitment to quality and sustainability. We are excited about the opportunities this partnership creates for our customers, employees and future growth."

Deli Home's seventh acquisition since Ardian became shareholder

The intended acquisition of Amargós marks Deli Home's seventh acquisition since Ardian became a shareholder in 2021. Since then, Deli Home has significantly expanded its European platform through a series of strategic acquisitions:

· Euromolding, a Portuguese manufacturer of high-quality interior doors serving the Dutch market (2022).

· Bash-tec, a German developer and manufacturer of insect screen solutions (2023).

· Allure, a Dutch producer of premium made-to-measure storage solutions (2023).

· Houtwerf (50%) and Distri-Hout (65%), two leading timber and building materials distributors in the Netherlands and Belgium (2025).

· Karl G. Miller Holding (KGM), a leading German manufacturer and distributor of high-quality skirtings, mouldings and decorative products for home improvement (2025).

Together, these acquisitions significantly advance Deli Home's ambition to become Europe's Digital Carpenter. The intended acquisition of Amargós is supported by Ardian, one of the world's leading private investment houses and shareholder of Deli Home alongside its management team. The transaction remains subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities.

About Amargós

Founded in 1972 in Guadassuar (Valencia) by brothers José and Manuel Amargós, the company began as a specialist in timber door frames and has since diversified – through a lasting culture of innovation and entrepreneurship – into mouldings, sliding door systems and decorative timber products. Operating under the motto "Subiendo el listón" ("Raising the Bar"), Amargós has built an outstanding reputation across Spain for product quality, reliability and sustainability, serving over 400 builders' merchants, DIY retailers and professional carpentry businesses nationwide from its 30,000m² facilities in Guadassuar.

Following the founders' retirement, the second generation took over with the same aim: to exceed customer expectations, strengthen client relationships and uphold the highest standards of quality and service. With its incorporation into the Deli Home group, Amargós takes a decisive step towards professionalizing and internationalizing the business, building on its strengths and establishing itself as a leading brand in the sector.
