Your privacy is important to us. In this privacy statement it is explained how we, Deli Home Holding B.V. and its group companies Bruynzeel Home Products B.V., Bruynzeel Home Products Nederland B.V., Bruynzeel Home Products Belgium B.V., Bruynzeel Home Products Deuren B.V., Skantrae B.V., Doorcentres B.V., Deli Home Belgium N.V., Deli Home Belgium Trading N.V. and Deli Home Netherlands B.V., collect personal data from you via our interaction with you and how we handle these data. We sell different products, mainly through business partners, which are traded with the following trademarks: Agnes, Bruynzeel, CanDo, Fikszo, Hamstra, Lundia, Raffito, Skantrae, Jewe and StoreMax.

What does this privacy and cookie statement provide for?
This privacy and cookie statement is applicable to personal data of customers and users that are collected by us in connection with the products and services that we offer, whether or not via third parties. This includes both data that are collected offline via the customer service and data that are collected online, e.g. via one or our websites.

How do we collect personal data?
A number of these data, including name, address, telephone and email address, are communicated to us by you directly because you fill in a contact or other form, request an offer, order goods from us, subscribe to a newsletter or email, chat or call with us.

Another part of the data is obtained by us by recording how you handle our websites. This relies on the use of, inter alia, functional / analytical cookies, tracking cookies and analytical tools, e.g. Google Analytics and Hotjar. With tracking cookies IP-data regarding the IP address and website visit are also processed.

The use of cookies
We place the cookies to save your preferences and settings as also to improve the performance of the website and to perform analyses of the activities on the website.

Tracking cookies are exclusively used after we have unambiguously obtained your consent for it. You can always revoke the said consent.

We refer you to the cookie bar on our websites for an overview of various types of cookies that we use.

How do we use your personal data?
We use these data for our business operations and to provide you with the products that we produce. We use the data to deliver to you, to communicate with you and to bill you.

We also use the data to improve our products, our websites and configurators, for website statistics, the use of social media, market analysis and improvement of the navigation on the website and to show you specific advertisements. In addition, we use the data for direct marketing purposes, including newsletters we send to you. You can object to the marketing purposes, which objection shall be honoured free of charge within four weeks.

Foundation for the use of the personal data
The data processing is based on the foundation that it is required for the conclusion and implementation of an agreement or that consent was given for it or that it is required to look after a justified interest we have, i.e. direct marketing.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties
We share the data with group companies, dealers, suppliers, builder’s merchants to conclude and implement transactions. We also share the data mutually between the group companies in order to enable them to undertake direct sales and marketing activities.

In addition we share data obtained by means of the tracking cookies, but only after your consent, with advertising networks Google and Bing and social media like Facebook. With your consent to us tracking cookies, you approve that certain data related to the us with or by social media, could be also stored outside the EU, like for example by FaceBook.

Unless you unambiguously gave consent for this, we do not share the data with dealers, suppliers, builder’s merchants in order to enable them to undertake direct sales and marketing activities.

What retention periods are applicable?
We retain your data for two years from your last contact with us, e.g. the date of your last purchase or contact by telephone, unless the law requires a longer or a shorter retention period.

The retention period of the data that we collect by means of cookies and that are used to, inter alia, show relevant offers and advertisements amounts to six months.

What are your rights with regard to the personal data processed by us?
Below you can read what you can request us with regard to your personal data. The law determines if we can lend cooperation in your request. Hence, you must take into account that we cannot always help you.

You can request us for the following:

  • Information about the processing operations of the personal data;
  • Insight into your own personal data;
  • Rectification of personal data if they are not correct;
  • Deletion of personal data and the right to be forgotten;
  • Restriction of the processing of personal data;
  • Objection to the processing of personal data;
  • Data portability; and
  • Not to be subject to automated decision-making.
