Key appointments underscore international growth ambitions
Deli Home is pleased to announce several key leadership appointments and a refined organizational structure, marking a significant step forward in the company’s international growth journey.
These announcements were made during an energizing international business meeting held last week in Rotterdam, where over 50 colleagues from across Europe gathered to reaffirm and strengthen collaboration in Deli Home’s mission to make custom home improvements easy.
Sustainability was a central theme throughout the event. As a highlight, expert Pablo van der Lugt shared his vision on wood as a carbon sink when used responsibly in construction. An inspiring perspective that aligns with Deli Home’s commitment to 100% PEFC/FSC certified wood and its ambition to shape the future of sustainable interiors.
Building on this momentum and following three strategic acquisitions earlier this year, Deli Home has restructured its operations into two clearly defined business units: Building Materials & Interior Decoration and Doors. This streamlined setup enables the company to deliver more targeted, tailor-made solutions, supported by advanced digital configurators that make custom home improvement simple and accessible for all.
To support this transformation, Deli Home proudly celebrates the following leadership appointments:
• Frank Gijsberts – Commercial Director Benelux (Building Materials & Interior Decoration)
• Marten Karelse – Commercial Director International (Building Materials & Interior Decoration)
• Will van der Zande – Managing Director Insect Screens
• Niels Boelema – Managing Director of joint venture Houtwerf (effective January 1, 2026)
• Stefan Wijnen – Head of Business Development and Digital
Frank Gijsberts also joins the Senior Management Team, which now includes CEO Eugène Sterken, CFO Jan-Willem Smits, HR Director Linda Oranje, COO Marc Nobel, Business Unit Director Doors Dirk Bergman, and Marten Karelse.
“Our expanded leadership team strengthens Deli Home’s capabilities for the future,” said Eugène Sterken, CEO of Deli Home. “We are committed to growth, digital innovation, and custom-made interior, wood-based solutions that empower people to beautify and renovate their homes with ease.”
With a focused structure and an energized leadership team, Deli Home is well-positioned to accelerate its journey toward becoming Europe’s leading digital carpenter.
