Deli Home is proud to announce that it has officially become a Certified B Corporation™. As a major European manufacturer and distributor of wood-based interior decoration, doors, and building materials, Deli Home aims to make custom-made home improvement easy for everyone. Following nearly two years of intense assessment, the certification, awarded by B Lab™, recognises Deli Home’s commitment to high standards of social, environmental, and governance performance, across its entire business.
Deli Home is among the first large European manufacturers to earn B Corp status. By achieving the B Corp certification, the company demonstrates that sustainability and responsibility are deeply embedded in its operations and culture.
“Earning the B Corp certification strengthens our mission to champion wood as the most sustainable building material in home improvement,” says Eugène Sterken, CEO of Deli Home. “By combining wood craftsmanship with digital innovation, we make custom home improvement simpler and more sustainable. At the same time, we are working hard to reduce our own CO₂ emissions and those of our products by using bio-based and circular materials.”
Deli Home’s products are better known through brands such as Allure, CanDo, Raffito, Skantrae and Weekamp Deuren, and are available via leading DIY retailers, building material suppliers, home furnishers and online marketplaces, across ten European countries.
Sustainable materials
Deli Home consciously sources sustainable materials. Today, 85% of its products are made of wood, the most sustainable construction material available: renewable, low in CO₂ emissions, and inherently circular. The company exclusively uses PEFC or FSC®-certified timber, to enable the responsible management of forests and the support of local communities. Deli Home creates long-term partnerships with suppliers and retail partners to ensure responsible sourcing, high ethical standards, and transparency throughout the value chain.
Tailor-made solutions
It is Deli Home’s ambition to make customised home improvement simple and affordable for everyone. A growing share of its products are made-to-measure interior solutions designed to last longer. These solutions not only provide convenience for end users but also reduce waste throughout the value chain.
Responsible employment
The company maintains a responsible working environment in which health and safety come first. Whilst investing in a safe and inclusive and engaging workplace that values craftsmanship, innovation and talent retention. Creating opportunities for development, learning and growth.
About B Corp Certification
B Corp is a global community of companies: there are more than 10,000 B Corps worldwide, across more than 160 industries and in over 100 countries. In Europe — and especially in the Netherlands — the B Corp community is growing fast and includes well-known companies such as Albert Heijn, Auping, Bol, Brabantia, Hak and Rituals.
B Corp Certification is a recognition that a business meets high standards of verified social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Certified B Corporations are required to balance profit and purpose and are assessed across various areas, including governance, employees, community, environment, and customers.
The certification process is rigorous and holistic, requiring companies to demonstrate continuous improvement and undergo recertification every three years to ensure that standards are maintained.
