European exclusive: bash-tec and FlexScreen join forces to introduce innovative insect screens

Insect screen specialist bash-tec, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deli Home, has signed a strategic licensing agreement with FlexScreen, the leading U.S. manufacturer of flexible screens known from Shark Tank, an American business reality television series. This partnership, aimed at simplifying custom home improvements, not only opens up new distribution channels, but also strengthens the position of Deli Home in the European insect screen market. The focus of this collaboration is to introduce FlexScreen in Europe to home improvement chains and window, door and frame manufacturers.

What makes FlexScreen unique is its impressive track record in the United States. With sales in the tens of millions of dollars. FlexScreen offers a simple, made-to-measure product with an unprecedented short lead time. The automated and innovative production process allows a high-quality screen for various high-quality fiberglass fabrics to be created in just a few minutes, a significant improvement over traditional screens that often take much longer. This innovative process, coupled with FlexScreen's uniquely durable design, enables us to increase customer service and open up new markets.

Arnd Büdenbender, CEO of bash-tec, states, "This collaboration with FlexScreen is a crucial step for us in bringing innovative insect screen products to Europe, especially in the field of made-to-measure production. We are confident that the introduction of flexible screens will create a real revolution in the world of home improvement."

Joe Altieri, CEO of FlexScreen, adds, "This licensing agreement with bash-tec is a major milestone for FlexScreen as we introduce our flexible insect screens to the European market. As a result, we can now offer our customers made-to-measure screens with just in time delivery. We look forward to our combined impact on the European screen market."

FlexScreen began in 2013 as an innovative idea by CEO Joe Altieri. He created the world's first and only flexible window screen in his garage, to solve all frustrations associated with the production and installation of the century-old technology of aluminum screens. In 2020, FlexScreen successfully participated in the Shark Tank program on ABC.

Specialist bash-tec, with over 20 years of experience in the development, assembling and packaging of screens and screen components, is the designated partner for FlexScreen in Europe. As the exclusive European distribution partner in many countries for the high-quality fiberglass fabrics of the Saint Gobain Adfors brand, among others, bash-tec supplies wholesalers, DIY stores and European manufacturers of insect screens. The cooperation with FlexScreen strengthens the position of bash-tec and Deli Home in the insect screen market in Europe.
